Cat yawningIt is with a heavy dose of hot shame that I admit to neglecting this old website of mine over the past couple of months. Work on my play Love, Wrong Love (but love nonetheless) dominated matters for a time but with the ending of its succesful and borderline-glorious run last week, I can turn my attention to how my lovely stories have been doing out in the Wild World. So what’s been published? What’s been accepted? Is there any other GREAT NEWS? Read on…

Zzw-Jenny-D-084-G-Red-Dresses-Womens-DesignerWell isn’t this an immaculate slice of Hot Delight? I am absolutely ‘sur l’herbe’ to say that my short story ‘Three Holes (I love you)’ has been accepted by my good friends over at Jersey Devil Press.

It’s based on the time I went to see Prometheus, though nothing of the film has made its way into the text. (Thankfully. What a shit film!) It’s a bit of a laugh anyway, and it’ll be up around October for the anniversary edition of JDP, which I am absolutely honoured to be part of.

Take care!

When it comes to friends, Mantha Tallun will take whatever she can get. (Except Alice Cleary)

‘You’re the Bomb, You Twisty Plonker!’

She came from Outside. She knew places he’d never heard of before – Drumcondra Road, Cabra, Fassaugh Avenue. Exotic places, a full forty minutes up the road. It would not, could not last.

stone-in-handWell yipes and yazoo, this is good news! My short story ‘JAR’ has been plucked from the rushes by the delightful folk over at Mama Grande Press

It’s a particularly saucy and chortlesome jape about a young boy and a magical jar and the delightful things he finds inside.

It should be out for July; do look out for it– ‘Jar’ hear me?!

fison-david_christmas-totem-poleYipe! My short story ‘OSKALOPL’ has been accepted for publication by the transcendant people at Hello Horror.

Very proud of this story, particularly since it was nonsense word I made up while I was in the shower.

It’s a silly tale (but aren’t they all?) about some silly boys (ditto) doing an awful thing (ditto, ditto, ditto) It’ll be out soon.

It’s an ace story of family frolics, going for a dip in the reservoir, and a particularly watery type of butter! Wow! What’ll I think of next?
