Cat yawningIt is with a heavy dose of hot shame that I admit to neglecting this old website of mine over the past couple of months. Work on my play Love, Wrong Love (but love nonetheless) dominated matters for a time but with the ending of its succesful and borderline-glorious run last week, I can turn my attention to how my lovely stories have been doing out in the Wild World. waltzHurrah! Coinciding with my site’s second anniversary, my short story ‘The Big Soft Gentle Man’ has been published by the lovely people at Dark Edifice.

It’s a ‘fun’ story, go have a read!

Anyway, first up, the good folk over at Dark Edifices have accepted my short story The Big Soft Gentle Man, which is a charming tale of a special day in school, with a cavalcade of silly kiddies and the nonsense they get up to.

Second up, my story Days We Give Up Granddad has been accepted by the lovely people at Literary Orphans. It is an amusing literary jaunt about some silly kiddies and the special games they play under the bed.

I am particularly happy both of these have been accepted, they are both ‘late’ stories, written in some haste and with a more than a soupcon of creative doubt. Delighted that they are both going to such good homes. Hope you like them too!
