Well glory be, doesn’t this miracle put ol’ resurrectin’ Christ to shame? I woke up this morning to find not one, not three, but *two* acceptances waiting for me in my inbox. Can you imagine the big smile on me? No! Bigger than that!
Anyway, first up, the good folk over at Dark Edifices have accepted my short story The Big Soft Gentle Man, which is a charming tale of a special day in school, with a cavalcade of silly kiddies and the nonsense they get up to.
Second up, my story Days We Give Up Granddad has been accepted by the lovely people at Literary Orphans. It is an amusing literary jaunt about some silly kiddies and the special games they play under the bed.
I am particularly happy both of these have been accepted, they are both ‘late’ stories, written in some haste and with a more than a soupcon of creative doubt. Delighted that they are both going to such good homes. Hope you like them too!
